Ground Mounts
Constructed on unused acreage, such as landfills, other brownfields and disturbed farm land, Nanosolar power plants generate electricity when its value is the highest during the peak parts of the day.
Located in and around towns and cities, Nanosolar power plants can feed clean electricity directly into the local power grid. Upgrades to high-voltage transmission lines are not required.
Rapid Deployment
Nanosolar ground mount power plants can be rapidly deployed, typically within months. Lower permitting, interconnection and execution risks also translate into lower project financing costs relative to conventional sources of energy.
Efficient Usage of Acreage
Nanosolar power plants on fixed tilt racks utilize acreage more efficiently than crystalline silicon-based installations with motorized solar trackers. This is because motorized trackers require larger distance between rows of panels to avoid shading losses. The difference can be as high as twice the amount of land required, even with a higher efficiency silicon panel.
