The Nanosolar SunLink solution is an innovative, extremely low-materials-cost, “lay-up” mounting system for large, flat roofs that usually requires no penetration and no additional ballast.
Easy Installation
Installation is as simple as:
1. Lay-up the recycled-rubber mounting blocks onto the rooftop and insert the standard-sized beams and clips.
2. Place and clip the Nanosolar Utility Panels and quick-connect the Nanosolar Edge Connector cabling.
Third-party studies have shown cable connect times reduced by as much as 85% and total-installation time by as much as 25% versus industry-standard systems, significantly reducing installation cost.
Maximum Rooftop Coverage
The tightly-tiled, low-tilt installation enables maximum utilization of available rooftop area. Due to the modular nature of the assembly structure, arrays can be configured easily to be mounted across or to work around existing rooftop obstructions.
Superior Wind Performance
Designed for robust protection against uplift and drag caused by gusting wind, the system requires no penetrations and minimal to no additional ballast on many buildings.

Streamlining Solar for Large Roofs
Developed through one of the largest Solar America Initiative awards by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Nanosolar SunLink flat roof system is unique in that it is a light-weight, non-penetrating, low-cost structure.
Using sophisticated computer simulations as well as extensive wind-tunnel tests, the behavior of wind on and around commercial rooftops was analyzed comprehensively in order to arrive at an optimized design.
